Excesstigress is a streamer, speedrunner, doto tryhard, ex programmer, also occasionally provides press coverage at tournaments and LANs. If you multiply her Steam hours by minimum wage, you could afford a gently used Aventador.
Console Peasant since the mid 90s, Moba noob and cat addict.
Every time an artist dies, God lets them paint the sky that night.

Some players are called "cancer" because they want to drag other players down so that they can be at the top.
I'm a contributor for various sites under the Enthusiast Gaming umbrella: Destructoid, dailyesports.gg, PlayStation Enthusiast, PC Invasion, and Flixist. Games. Movies. Travel. History. Warhammer. Dad jokes. All around nerdy stuff. You name it, I'll happily chime in.
Polish-Canadian game enthusiast. I've been entrenched in gaming as long as I can remember, with my first ever game being Pokemon Yellow and my most played game being Borderlands 2 (3000+ hours). Some other key favourites of mine are Transistor and Night in the Woods, but I spend stupid amounts of time playing Overwatch. I hope to continue to be part of film, gaming, and writing.
A console gamer gone rogue. Collector of retro games, pun and dad joke enthusiast. My spotify playlists are out of control. Rocket League anyone?
I always found myself reading and writing. I am a quirky, funny, and a deeply honest individual. As a child, teen, and even adult I always found myself doing something connected to creation, whether it was video creation, writing, putting together tech and improvising short stories quite quickly.
Writer of Things; Lover of Pokemon Fire Red. Constantly wondering where the Switch has been all my life. Uncharted 3 is better than 2.
Soccer fanatic, lover of sports and VERY Italian.
I've been blogging about videogames for 12+ years over at Destructoid.com, and now I help direct editorial for the EG network such as Daily eSports, Gamnesia, OnlySP, Nintendo Enthusiast, and a dozen others. Love my job, I'm living the dream!
Programmer. Writer. Digital media specialist. Competitive gamer in the sense that I'm competing with the constant urge to throw the controller across the room.
News writer. Giver of opinions even when people don't want them. Occasional video game player. Sometimes I like to do all three at the same time. Eat my dust, Elon Musk.
Pizza. Music. Baseball. Wrestling. Netflix. If society thinks it's a waste of time, I'm probably addicted to it. Also, I write about stuff sometimes.
French Canadian/Jamaican lover of all things digital. I've been gaming since around the time I could walk, and analyzing gameplay since around the time I could speak. Currently a biochemistry student at the University of Toronto as well as a print model. Looking to complete the triforce by coming out with new gaming articles and insights for community enjoyment. My background and interest currently lies in Overwatch, having been a coach and player since beta. "I hope to be of assistance" -F.L.U.D.D.
Born and raised in Toronto. Sometimes a writer. Sometimes a creative director. Sometimes bored. Catch me with hundreds of unplayed games in my Steam library.
Kevin has been a fan of fighting games since he first walked up to a Marvel vs. Capcom cabinet at the tender age of 8 at the local arcade. (Kids ask your parents what an "arcade" is) He may not be very good, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying them.
Just another talking head on the internet, occasionally spouting off thoughts about video games. Some recent obsessions include Persona, Overcooked, and, once and forever, Dragon Warrior VII.
Tarah Bleier is a freelance writer, editor and content creator from Toronto. She currently actively writes for, Daily Esports, Flixist and Outright Geekery. As a graduate from Centennial College’s Journalism program, she has also written for Nintendo Enthusiast, PC Invasion, Tribute.ca, Factinate.com and recently for Geek Enthusiast Magazine. In her free time, she loves gaming, cosplaying, prop making and attending as many conventions and geeky events as she can.
Accountant by day, video games enthusiast by night. Somewhere in between all of that, I'm a husband, dad, and generally a giant man-child, too. If a game is all about action, there's a safe bet I'm playing it. I started laying waste to virtual worlds as a youngin' on the ol' Atari and haven't stopped since.
Huge fan of PUBG, Project Cars and Dirt Rally - I'm currently studying a film and photography degree and I also love mountain biking
Lover of tacos, Starcraft, and craft beer. When I'm not busy getting crushed on the ladder, you can find me beating my head against a Dark Souls boss or rocking out to The Sword.
An avid fan of space exploration, owner of many dogs, and an independent video game developer. Drinking, dreaming and the other one are a definite yes.
I like to give out free AK-47 headshots in CS: GO, spend some quality time in the kitchen marinating a tender chicken breast and approximately 3 times a week I lift some relatively heavy metal stuff at the gym. Oh, and I also like to write about e-sports and everything related to gaming. Who knew one could have such contrasting interests?
Based in Australia, I owe my love of esports to my partner’s involvement with Masterminds Gaming Club. In my spare time, I write game reviews for Neon Lights Gaming and troll my favourite streamers’ Twitch chats. I like to eat Nutella straight out of the jar, and If I invite you out for coffee, it means “You can have a coffee if you want; I’m getting a triple-choc Nutella popcorn milkshake with cookie crumb”.
I'm Arend Zijdenbos, from the Netherlands. Gamer for as long as I can remember. for the past 5 years I competed and coached Hearthstone at the top level . My current focus is to expand further in the esports writing scene.
I currently also write for Gamersensei, Dignitas, Team Genji, Montreal Gaming and Kyoto Esports for all kinds of Esports related articles.
Butch “Eo” Cross is a Blizzard enthusiast through and through. A US Navy veteran, he spends his free time engrossed in Heroes of the Storm, as well as World of Warcraft. He currently serves the Heroes community as a free-lance writer, community competition commentator, and coach.
Esports and gaming enthusiast. Briefly Grandmaster in StarCraft II. Lover of all things indie and some things weird. @hyattbre on Twitter.
I started playing Starcraft II days before HotS release with no prior RTS experience, but instantly fell in love with the competetive nature of the game, particularly not being reliant on teammates for victory like in other games I played previously (lots of League of Legends). I've been playing actively since LotV and am closing in on Grandmaster. I'm streaming almost daily on https://twitch.tv/misterl__
I've been playing Halo since I was three years old, with a brother who frequented local tournaments. So, it should come as no surprise that I love to watch and analyze shooter Esport games. Now, I watch competitive Overwatch and Halo, doing my best to learn the ins and outs of both games. I'm also a fierce advocate for the Metro franchise.
If I'm not practicing my Melee Falco, perfecting P.E.K.K.A decks in Clash Royale, or watching some esports tournament, I'm probably writing for fun or maybe trying to get a bit better at rock climbing. DBLTAP gave me a shot at esports over a year ago, and at 19, I'm still striving to improve my writing as much as possible.
I was born and raised in Canada and I currently attend Macewan University studying Communications.
I'm Brett, working in association with Daily Esports to cover Magic the Gathering and gaming news.
Dutch football (soccer) and Rocket League fan, spending much of my time watching the former, and playing and watching the latter. Also an avid fantasy/scifi reader and writer. I spend most of my time trying not to be in the real world.
I'm a 19 year old in a college town that would rather spend Friday nights playing COD, PUBG, Fortnite, Overwatch, etc. than go out and seize the college lifestyle. I'm a very avid follower of Call of Duty eSports, and make it a point to keep up with the scene. In my spare time I go to the gym, run, and play basketball, tennis, and golf.

Competitive Call of Duty player and Rainbow Six Siege fanatic that sometimes writes about his opinion about video games. Based in Toronto but raised in Asia. When I'm not traveling to events, I'm probably streaming, editing, or doing too much at once.
Part-time streamer, huge fan of all games, especially the FIFA Series! Graduate of Cambridge Technical Diploma in Media Studies.
TJ Denzer is a video game journalist and Co-Editor-in-Chief at Daily Esports with a passion for games that has dominated a lifetime. When he's not entrenched in the latest fighting games, exploring video game history, or playing through RPGs with his wife, he's putting time into local beer breweries and searching for new food and drinks in the constant pursuit of good times with good people.
I stood in line for Pac Man on the Atari 2600 with my dad. I didn't figure out the 3pt glitch on Double Dribble until 2 years ago. I wasted many quarters playing Rayden in Mortal Kombat with my friends at local arcades. My first internet experience was on AOL dial up. I play Starcraft 2 poorly and often.
Alexandra is an avid writer and a huge fan of StarCraft, and combining those two things is giving her a great excuse to watch an absolute ton of progaming.
With over 8k hours in DoTA 2, you would expect me to be way better than I actually am. I enjoy Fifa, HotS, D&D and any multiplayer games I can play with friends. I'm also a big fan of Kpop! My one prized possession is my Akke signed T-shirt.
